Our custom hats turnaround time is 5–7 business days from your order to shipping, whether you order one hat or a big batch. After that, shipping time depends on where you are in the US. If you need hats by a certain date, plan for both, add a few days of cushion, and contact us before you order if the date is tight.
What happens during those 5–7 business days
- Design check. A real person reviews your design. If something won’t stitch well, like text that’s too small, we contact you before we start.
- Digitizing. We turn your logo into a stitch file.
- Proof (if you added one). We email a digital proof and wait for your approval.
- Stitching. Your hats are embroidered in-house in Upstate New York.
- Quality check and packing. Every hat is checked before it ships.
When your order ships, you’ll get an email with tracking.
What can slow a custom hat order down
- Waiting on a proof approval. If you add a digital proof, stitching starts when you approve it. Approve quickly to keep things moving.
- Artwork that needs changes. If your logo can’t be stitched as placed, we’ll reach out, and the clock starts again once it’s settled.
- Change requests. Changing a design after ordering takes time. Check spelling, colors and sizes before you check out.
- Carrier delays. Once a package leaves us, timing is in the carrier’s hands, especially around holidays and bad weather.
How to plan for an event
Work backward from your date:
- Count 5–7 business days for us to make and ship the hats.
- Add shipping time to your address.
- Add a few days for a proof, if you want one.
- Add a few days of cushion for weekends, holidays and surprises.
For a wedding, reunion, team opener or company event, ordering two to three weeks ahead is a comfortable plan. Around the holidays, go earlier.
Need hats sooner?
Rush production is sometimes possible, depending on our workload. Text or email us before you order with your date and your order details, and we’ll tell you honestly what we can do. Rush orders may carry an extra fee. You can reach us through our contact page.
Turnaround questions
Does a bigger order take longer?
Normal bulk orders still ship in 5–7 business days. For very large orders of 500 or more, send a quote request and we’ll confirm timing.
Do you ship everywhere?
We ship within the United States. Shipping is free in the contiguous US.
How do I track my order?
You’ll get a tracking email when it ships, and you can see your order status in your account. Our FAQ has more shipping answers.
